The main subject of activity of Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej in Nowy Dwór Gdański is the distribution and production of heat. Heat consumers are individual customers, as well as industrial plants, business entities and public utility facilities.
Offered solution:
The reconstruction of the boiler dedusting installation is designed to reduce dust emissions in the exhaust gases.
The dedusting technology consists of a single-stage cyclone dust collector system, which includes batteries of four CW-560 cyclones with increased dust separation efficiency. Because there is a significant variation in the size of the exhaust gas stream, cyclones with high flow rates were used, maintaining the expected efficiency in the speed range of several m / s.
In order to maintain the required flue gas speeds at the inlets to the cyclones during the periods of minimum boiler capacity – mainly in the summer, flaps were installed to cut off the first pair of cyclones (manually started).
The exhaust gas ducts have also been rebuilt in a way that ensures optimization of hydraulic resistance and even distribution of the exhaust stream among individual cyclones.
Technical data:

Maximum exhaust gas temperature [°C] | 200 |
Dust content before filtration [g/m3] | up to 4 |
Dust content after filtration [um/m3] | up to 100 |
