Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of New Chemical Syntheses is an institute where research and development works in the field of chemical, biological and environmental sciences, technical analyses and implementation works, including experimental production, are carried out.
Offered solution:
The role of the designed system is to eliminate excessive dust arising from existing machines producing and testing tablets, as well as extracting dust lying on the floor and on elements and devices placed on the surface of the hall.
The system consisted of two component installations:
- dedusting installation of machines producing and testing tablets.
- installation of vacuuming dust lying in the hall.
Both components of the system are equipped with separate filters with different capacities. The dedusting system is equipped with a new fan, enabling flexible changes in the size of the air stream as needed, using a frequency converter. The filtrocyclone is made of 1.4301 stainless steel and equipped with a UNIJET500 side channel blower with a power of 11kW placed next to the device. The entire piping system is made of galvanized steel.
Technical data of the dedusting installation:
Working vacuum Pa | 3200 |
Motor power kW | 5,5 |
Engine speed rpm | 3096 |
Capacity m3/h | 3200 |
Dedusting efficiency % | 99,8 |
Filter material | polyester coated with PTFE coating |
Controller supply voltage | 24 VDC |
Technical data of the vacuuming installation:
Working vacuum mbar | 390 |
Motor power kW | 11 |
Engine speed rpm | 2900 |
Capacity m3/h | 550 |
Filter material | polyester coated with PTFE coating |
Controller supply voltage | 24 VDC |
