Stage I
Range:
Development of an innovative modular system based on new filtration technology.
Inside the structure, innovative filter materials will be used, not previously used in flue gas cleaning installations.
Two different purification processes will be included in one device – dedusting and desulfurization.
In addition, the overall dimensions will be reduced in relation to the currently used systems.
The end result – milestones:
- Reagent dosing system module. Critical value of parameters: minimum efficiency 150 kg/h, sorbent dosing accuracy – minimum 0.3%
- Exhaust gas duct system. Critical value of parameters: cross-section enabling the transmission of flue gases at a minimum level of 25,000 m3/h.
- Module for the system of reception, transport and storage of pollutants from the purification process. Critical value of parameters: minimum capacity 200kg/h
- Resistance of the filter material. Critical value of parameters: filter material resistant to physicochemical reactions and temperature up to 190°C
Stage II
Range:
A designed intelligent control system based on continuous analysis for the follow-up, automatic adjustment of the cartridge cleaning process, which is the key to obtaining the best quality of the desulfurization and dust filtration process, as well as combining the dedusting and desulfurization functions in one plant. As part of the stage, research works will be carried out, the aim of which will be to develop control of devices for reducing dust and SO2 from exhaust gases. Thanks to the appropriate research work, an automation system will be developed that will adjust the level of exhaust emissions in real time.
The end result – milestones:
- Power supply system dedicated for use in INOS® installation. Critical value of parameters: power consumption of control and measuring systems not exceeding 1kW.
- Control system algorithm dedicated for use in in THEOS® installation. Critical value of parameters: time of development of the control system response to the change in the measured value of dust and SO2 in exhaust gases <1s, frequency of data transmission to the data recording module in the SCADA system 1s
- Monitoring system dedicated to INOS® installations. Critical value of parameters: speed of analysis of data obtained from the installation – 60-180s
Stage III
Range:
Integration of individual modules of the complex system (developed in stages I and II) in order to create a complete and functional prototype of the INOS® combined dedusting and desulfurization installation and then conducting test and optimization works on a real facility – the OR-10 boiler in the Municipal Services Plant ENERGOKOM Sp. z o.o.
The end result – milestones:
- SO2 content in exhaust gases. Critical value of parameters <200 mg/m3
- Dust content in exhaust gases. Critical value of parameters <10 mg/m3
- The overall size of the filter control panel. Critical value of parameters: maximum 49 m3
